To be a proactive voice for massage therapy education and foster effective communication with stakeholder, such as, but not limited to, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, the Ontario Massage Therapists Association, the Ministry of Education Private Career Colleges division, the association of Community College Massage Program providers and the Canadian Council of Massage Therapy Schools. Be regarded as a professional massage therapy college organization and liaise with organizations that are appropriate to advance massage therapy education
Support growth and development of the massage therapy profession
Serve as a resource regarding legislative or public issues affecting massage therapy education
Encourage members to access, interpret, utilize and participate in massage therapy research
Work towards obtaining or reaching decisions/agreement on a collaborative basis
Demonstrate the qualities and the ethical values of a healthy, responsive and cost-efficient, professional organization
